This is me

First, let me say I am not interested in a one night stand and I ain't (aren't, isn't, am not) rich. My legs don't work as good as they used to - I can walk quite a ways with my cane - a loving arm would be nice, too. A slow waltz is about all I could manage these days, so no more jitterbug for me. I have traveled from England to Australia and all the states except Alaska - and some of Canada & Mexico. I would like to do this even more as I have always had the wander lust. Luckily, in the Indian jewelry business you were required to go to the best resort towns & National Parks on selling trips. I've seen a lot! I enjoy music, no matter the genre or performer - I either like it or I don't. Simple as that. I have more than a fair knowledge about computers, other electronics, aerodynamics, business, history, philosophy, some religions, and many other subjects. I don't engage in a lot of shop talk argot because it bores most - it bores me, too, if there's something better to do. I try to be direct and straight forward without being discourteous and I expect others to be the same with me. I despise emotional games. I am interested in someone desiring a serious relationship, but one who can have fun and enjoyment while it develops. She must be able to laugh at herself and not take herself too seriiously - but not abide ridicule. She must be honest, open and genial and not be depraved by cynicism. But, be full of laughter and pride in her accomplishments. And, most of all, have a caring and loving heart. In person I am fairly reserved until I get to know the other(s) a little. In emails, I can be quite verbose because I like to express myself precisely if the subject is serious. I think it is just fine and maybe even mentally healthy to drink occasionally and even get a little buzz on - so long as it isn't done recklessly, too often or while driving. I like to laugh and am forever making jokes - never cruel ones, though.
